Tripp is located 30 miles south of Mitchell on Hwy. 37 with a population of 627. The Public school is Tripp-Delmont K – 12. There is a home for the elderly, Good Samaritan Society. There is an Amish community just a few miles outside the city. Their public pool is in a scenic park. The most popular event in Tripp is the Fireman’s Ball with a
live band held during the summer. In October there is an Oktoberfest featuring Lawn Mowing Races, Brat Eating Contest, Hayrides, Polka Contest and Street Dance.
